Hi,
I use TrueLaunchBar with the WeatherMonitor plugin myself.
If you goto the January Desktop thread and look at Grusic's screenshots, you will see exmaples of it there.
Peace,
Grusic
Ezblad, could you possibly speak in english?? Or maybe with english that makes some sense at least?? Or maybe you just need to learn how to type. No offense, but I have no idea what the *uck you are trying to say. Did you go to 1st grade?

Thats very rude and disrespectful. Nice way to welcome someone Jmitch.
Ezblad, you can use the True Launch Bar Plugin like stated above (thats prolly the closest to the mac counterparts) Or you could get hoverweather from http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm Hoverweather is a skinnable program that will just sit on your desktop and show the current conditions.

Ezblad:
I guess you don't live in the U.S., but if you live in Europe you may find a similar site as what we have for the U.S. .
It would be nice to have a Windows App like Weatherman as you suggested but placing a weather icon on the dock to a weather site might give you better info.
I use this site:
I enter the Zip Code = Postal Code and go to the page with a radar picture of my part of town and I get not only a satellite picture that shows me coming storms but also a 5 day forcast.
My link is the above plus the correct part of town for me, so I only do one click.
Just a thought

Here I'll try to help:
"Hi ! boys, I see a program that shows the weather in the taskbar, something like WeatherMan for Windows. Can anybody help me, and tell me the name of that program?

You can write to him back in Romanian or wherever he comes from. No speak Romanian?...need to go to first grade school in Romanian then.
I think he might be smarter that some of us. because he can say a few words in more than one language eventhough it is not perfect it's more perfect than those that can handle only one language at best.
I ain't perfect either, so I throw no stones in this matter.
Be careful!...you could be talking to the great great grandson of " Blad the Impaler = The Real Dracula "
Thanks, and sorry, i would practice more, u otra manera es que hable en español, pero no lo creo conveniente
Gracias

Jmitch,
what makes you think that everybody should speak perfect english? The guy is trying his best, I'd like to see how you try to speak his language.
Jmitch <------ What is wrong with you!! I understood everything he wrote now if you didn't understand then maybe you should go back to Kindergarden
geeeeez take a pill will ya

Felix,
Thank you.
I don't mind giving the desktop details at all.
Would you post the url of the shoot you are interested in back to me? Then I will reply with the details.
Peace,
Grusic
Hi,
I read this forums for some time, but with this kind of comments I think that i will never post a message.
I think that I speak my native language (spanish) in a more accurate way than many of you speak yours -No offense, Jmitch-
Ok, my english is bad, but to post a comment in a forum....it is not imposible to understand.
Gracias,

I just got my hands on the open source of the Meteorologist 1.2.1
for osx. Now being that it is open source could we not port this lil program so it works in quicklaunch bar or even the tray? I have started to rip it apart to see how it ticks. Let me know if anyone wants to give it a try I will send it to you.
ps: this is the program for the tray in osx
hablo poco de espanol tambien
pero no conozco en que manera puede imponer el acento en el 'n' usando Phoenix.
anyway, Intrigue, try to make it show in the taskbar, that way we could see it in the Docks with... different icons maybe?

Where in Phoenix you want to put the "tilde" on the n (ñ) ???
Ezblad,
No te preocupes, puedes escribir en español, hay un monton de personas que hablan español aqui.
Hi all,
In case anybody wants them, I have some weather related icons that I extracted from Meteorologist and another OSX weather program.
Someone had asked me for them awhile back, but I lost the message, sorry.
Please PM me or respond here and I will send them as soon as possible.
All the best,
Grusic
Hi Grucic,
Can you send me the weather icons you have? Was looking for some good looking weather icons everywhere, but haven't found any good enough, apart from a few posted by maqbi9 in:
Aqua-Soft Boards->Customizing->Icons-><>
I'm planning to make a weather program for mobydock, but I'm still in the process of gathering graphics and info... and too busy, because of some exams I have for the following 2-3 weeks.
Have a nice day!
Ken
Ken,
I'll need a url to send these icons to. I have them in *.icn and *.png format. What is your perference?
Peace,
Grusic
You can mail them to ken@b-online.gr
PNGs would be great. By the way, do you know of any freeware that converts Mac icns to any PC format? (ico, png, etc)
Thank you!
Ken
