I'm still waiting for a lowend headless tower. I have too many monitors, I don't need another one. I also like messing around with my computer (like most here), so I prefer the flexability of a tower. Besides, I know Apple would make it pretty. It would hardly be a beige box.

can someone explain why the emac is about 500$ less than the powermac?, grantid the powermac has PCI slots/ little bigger HD and more l2 memory, but that doesnt look like 500$ worth...

I think it's cheaper because of the cheaper graphic card and the CRT screen... :rolleyes:

Im guessing Apple will base it mostly on memory Apple dont half over-charge on thier memory prices. Im also thinking the Powermac has a larger cache on the G4. It will also be the graphics card and drive space. But basically you pay the extra for the Powermacs usability and customization capabilities.
