changing the windows icon in IE

does anyone know how I would change the windows icon on the top right-hand corner of Internet Explorer?

what Windoze version do u have? XP pro or Home or 9x,Me

I think he wants to change the image, not get rid of it.

There are ways in the registry, but I dont know them, so look them up in google.

Yep ,the first 2 links r about changing his throbber ,not getting rid off, im not sure about Y'z toolbar

if I want to change my IE and Explorer buttons, do you think its wise to use Y's Toolbar or to hack the registry or some other way?

My opinion go for the Y'z toolbar,its small and it looks good ,if u have an old pc or something try ur tweaking or ur modifying there first if it works the apply it to ur main pc once ur comfortable doing stuff u wont need that spare pc,thats how i learned and is just my opinion everybody else is different
