Best Web Designer College?

I know I'm only 16 but next year I'll be able to graduate. Any ways, I want to be a webdesigner for several reasons. (If you are truly bored and wouldn't mind reading them then I'll type them up for ya) Well I was wondering if anyone knows of any colleges that have degree programs for web design or specialize in web designing. Right now I got my eyes set on Full Sail. I'd be going into their digital media program. So any other colleges or any webdesigners out there that think their college might do me some good then please let me know.

EDIT - OK after some talking with a new associate of mines lol I found out or rather realized that not many colleges will offer you both the experience needed to be a web designer and a web programmer, which is what I was looking for. SO I ending up choosing which one I wanted to go after first or the most. That would be web programmer. So the question now is what's a good college that could help me become a good, no, one of the best web programmers. What the name of that major anyways?

And you are from ? and willing to move to another country, i did a study interaction design.. at the HKU School of Arts at the faculty Media and Technology it involves many aspects of interactive design including webdesign of course but actually all aspects of designing interaction experiences, wether it is a game interface a remote control a exhibition routing a ATM a website or whatever... that involves interaction...

I'm from Miami, Florida. I'm not sure if I'm willing to move to another country as in out of the US but it could be a good experience.

It's not easy to get into this school. You have to be seriously skilled. I already have my diploma in G.D. so perhaps they would consider that and let me in, but it's a great school; best in Canada by far.

I heard of this fullsail program my friends doing...I think its in Florida...you might want to check it out

My two cents: I'm at the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York. (www.rit.edu). When I came here two years ago, it had the second best graphic design program in the country to Stanford (in CA). I'm from Ohio, so it was a lot closer and easier to do Rochester. It's actually pretty sweet, and all the profs I've had so far have been really great and challenging. If you're willing to go with an art institute, check them out (I wanted to stick with a traditional 4-year school).

Our New Media design program is real hot. Hillman Curtis just came to RIT and gave a lecture that I saw last night. Awesome.

I live like 20 mins away from Full Sail and considered going there after high school but they are WAY expensive for only like 11 months of non-stop classes to get your degree. Plus, the way you learn there is so intense and more info keeps coming at you that you barely get to soak up anything. So, I wouldn't recommend it...unless you're rich, have no life, and want a degree quickly.

Well I've been getting info from them and stuff and I know their schedules are hectic as hell but they have a lot of connections! Connections are what get you in and what u know is what keeps you there. I'm not rich but I got a scholarship that would cover it. I do have a life. I love to party so I really hate that they cram everything. But I do want a degree quickly.

There's also this other college.... International Academy of Design and Technology they seem to be just as close to what I want to experience as FullSail.

Depends on whether you want to learn to become a web programmer or a web designer.

If its the latter then it doesnt matter where you go as long as you have the drive to learn and experiement.

Man, if you're interested in working in the web/new media industry, move away from the States if you can... So many designers out there say that the design scene in Europe is much freeer and more adventurous than in the US... US clients tend to be too focused on $ per inch on screen... For some reason European clients tend to give their design agencies more freedom to be creative...

Just my ideas and the ideas of those i speak to and used to write about...

Hmm... I don't know off the top of my head... There are a couple of good ones in the UK... But I'll have to do some checking up on those and the ones in continental Europe...
