grunge is made from not just a filter...but brushes...fonts...etc.
go through the photoshop tutorial thread in iLife (the forum) and search for a grunge tutorial...

just go to actionxchange.com and look in the photoshop brushes, there are a crapload of grunge brushes
yes, its more than a filter, its all types of brushes....angels, writing, signs..ANYTHING you can think of.so ya.

I dont have photoshop...I have PSP and Gimp lol but i found something i want (i think)
You don't need to have Photoshop to register @ studioexchange, it's free. But since you don't have it, it's pretty useless for you. I highly suggest to get a copy of this application. I never heard of any good grungy brushes for PSP/Gimp.
And it's more than brushes, fonts, filters....it's a whole style, way of thinking, a specific aesthetics.

all i wanted was to know where the grungy look came from ans where i could get it. Thanks for the link btw
