Windows Looks Macos

hello,

so 1st of all, I´m preatty new here on aquasoft-org, so mercy when I ask silly questions.

I was on the search for extensions which makes my PC Computer more look ike apples OSX. I know that´s not possible to have the exact look what for me wouldn´t be necessary (actually the windows logo doesn´t have to be changed with the apple logo on teh start buttton). what I really would like is, that there are shaddows under the windows like in MACOSX, I think this makes sense.

So maybe I do my own apple design, but could somebody tell me which software I´d need to do that?

Should try Y'z Shadow or WindowFX.

if your not interested in changing your complete gui to look like osx, which can be done to an extent, to enhnace the windows gui, definatly look at

y'z shadow like dark angel suggested

y'z toolbar (to change the explorer & ie toolbar)

object dock (to gain a osx styled dock, you could look for y'z dock, but development stopped after apple sent the creator a letter and asked everyone not to distribute it aswell)

style xp (so you can choose new theme besides the fugly standard ones)

icon xp (to change a few icons, alternativly you can look into 'hacking' your system files)

anything else dont be afraid to ask the community is more than willing to answer your questions if they can

also, you might get a better chance of being answered if you post in the customising forum

great to have new people wanting to change their ugly windowscomputers to macos looks! :woot:

Browse around the forums, check also www.aquaxp.com, they have a nice 'desktop of the month' thread, where you can gaze your eyes out to what's on the market. You can allways ask the people how they done it. If they're to lazy to explain, they can allways give you a link to the thread in some forum that explains it.
