[release] Aol No-ad

This trick may be old, but...

Mouse released a nice mod, but if you are looking just to get rid of that ad, here's what you need!

AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) Version 5.5.3583 (the newest version, not AOL, sorry for the confusion)

The ad is just above the actual buddy list (how could you not see it? hehe)

I downloaded the newest aim off the web and this mod works like a charm with it, ads are gone! Good work fella

quick question about this does it completely get rid of the ad because I used to use deadaim with the older versoin of aim and that got rid of the ad visually but if the add had sound to it like most of them do now you would still here the sounds.

I hear no sounds so far and ive let aim run for hours and hours now...

yep no ads on aol is old..

there is also something similar for msn too..

but for aol i just use deadaim.. when i do use it.. heh
