Mobydock Crashes

I have two shortcuts in MobyDock, one to eMule and one to eMule+. These are in two different directories in Program Files but the same program name.

Both work fine, however, when I remove one of them by dragging it out and dropping on the desktop(eMule+) and go back to MobyDock, it crashes.

If I remove eMule+ AND eMule quickly, it's fine. Is this a bug?

Could be the problem is that both have the same executable name in different folders.

hum... strange bug, didn't had it for now :)

one trick: give up emule and emule+... ;)

More info:

Just removed the windows media player icon from Mobydock. When I try and use it again, it crashes.

If, however, I remove the icon and immediately go to Mobydock config and quit, then restart mobydock, it works fine.

Thanks for the tip - giving up eMule hence removing it from the dock :)

well this is very strange... try to reinstall MB (if you didn't already), be sur that your drivers are up to date, and you have well installed DirectX...

after that i can't help you much more, witch OS are you running?

i'm pretty sure this is a general bug...

seen lots of people with it, but maybe its persystem or something?

... the cleanest way to remove items from mobydock(ie. no crashing worries), is to edit the items.ini file in notepad. the 'open config' method doesn't always work.

edit: oops forgot to say you should quit md before editing, as you'll get the same probs. sometimes if you keep it open.

More info: I'm running WinXP Pro, with all the latest M$ updates.

I'll try editing the items.ini file instead and wait for a fix :). Thanks for the info.

I also have the problem.

Happens on two different computers...is there a way to report it to Moby?

Does he still work on the dock?

yep same prob here, but with any icon, and the weird thing about it is when i restart it it doesnt scroll smoothly, only when i put my mouse against the edge of the screen. but if i move it over the dock, like in the middle or something, it jitters and hangs.

Im running 3 monitors and resorted to yzdock bacuase of this. But ill take a look at the ini file and see if i can get it working that way :)
