New Tray Controls For Qcd

There is a really neat new QCD plug-in available at this location created by the very talented canard blue.

This plug-in creates control icons within the tray area. The screenshot above shows the default 6 icons which are Prev | Play | Next | Stop | Eject | Menu. The 6th icon is currently set to show the main menu but there are plans to change this soon to show the QuickTrack or Playlist menu.

Each of the 6 icons is function configurable and can also be hidden.

The display can be skinned using a 16x96 BMP8 image saved in the plugins\TrayControlSkins directory in QCD.

Update: This plug-in is progressing nicely as you can see above. It can now display track and timer info in the taskbar and uses a user defined bitmap for the display areas. Works best with the new B39 version of QCD.

Can anyone give me any tips on how to get this plugin to work? I have the latest build of QCD - 39 - and have followed all the instructions. Have rebooted etc many times, reinstalled and so on. The toolbar shows up ok, but none of the controls work. All that happens is that when I click the "play" button on the toolbar, QCD will load if it is not already running. Otherwise nothing.
