Well I know ibanezcollector was starting to work on this but I've been at it for about a week now, just figured I'd share what I've accomplished so far since a week ago today I had absolutely no clue how to port or make a theme!!
Hopefully when I finish I'll have a Y'z toolbar, iconpackager package, objectdock skin (finished, see ss) and trillian skin, which I still need help with.

I don't usually go for VSs with so much texture and whatnot, but this theme actually looks good. Keep up the good work porting it. I like what I see so far.
seems pretty cool. The textured look is a nice and refreshing step away from most mac-looking GUIs. What I've really liked out of your recent screenies are the "wallpaper wallpaper". I'd kill for it. Any chance you can point me to the page where you originally found it?? :woot:

The wallpaper can be found here. It's the 950 backdrop. Some really amazing dark, dirty textures here, it's such a break from the bright, overly colorful themes available, i think that's what appeals to me the most about this theme.
There will be much work and changes done over the weekend as I will be working with the original author and even ibanezcollector if he's still interested (you get my pm?).
Again, to reiterate what others have said about you regular themers, we can't give you enough credit for what you do, until you really get into this and really understand it you have no idea how extremely tedious it can be!

Amen to that! After my little romps into styledom (?) I'm amazed at all the work put in.
More work done with some suggestions from JoE950, tabs redone and patterns added as well as a crude FireFox theme and a compact start menu added as well. I think he's gonna remake the scrollbars because of the limitations of the windows scrollbars, they will not act as they do on the mac.
Anyhoo, here's the update....

Who is el? Nobody had permission to port this except me and ibanezcollector (and crni for the ob theme) as far as I know.
BTW, work has been halted on this temporarily because JoE950 is working on the Calabi project with Sascha Höhne (MacTheme.net 3rd place contest winner) and there were some elements he wanted to make specifically for the windows version of this but doesn't have time for right now, so [f]p is on the back burner for now...

Joe gave el-diablo (japanese guy who actually posted here a few times and is very cool) permission to port and even applauded his port or [fear]platinum, although el decided not to release it and that he'd brush it up and add a bunch of other stuff and then give it to a few ppl (...me included) Anyways, forget I said anyrhing and please note that I corrected you in my quote to make it more accurate ^

Could you post a screenshot? I'd like to see what he did.
NOFX uses el's ported stuff and NOFX also made a bunch of the other stuff in those screens
