Reshacking Quicktime

I wanted to use ResHacker to replace all of the file type icons in the QuickTime exe with their OSX equivalents. Well I replaced them and saved the file and then opened it back up in reshacker to make sure the icons were replaced and it said "cannot open icon. file was probably compressed with an exe compressor" or something along those lines. Does anyone know of a way to replace the icons so that it will actually work?
