In WindowFX, you go to 'shadows>modify and check the box that says "Adjust shadows for shaped windows"

In Y'z shadows, In the 'Drop shadow' tab you'll see a section saying "Offset to an inner side" with a spinner, set this to above 1 until the effect goes away. A setting of about 3 should fix it.

Since on the subject of shadows, what is the difference of WindowsXP Shadows compared to either of these (Y's or WinFX) ? can you post a close-up picture showing the difference please.
