Samurize Weather Images Question

For the images refresh automatically do u add them as a meter(meter>text>imgae) or as a graphics(edit graphics>image) . ?

It depends which weather you are using, if you use the weather2004 plugin you will need to add a plugin and set this as image or if you use the desktopweatherxml script you may add a active script and set it as an image.

I am using the desktopweatherxml but the way u said won't work as it needs to get the exact filename of the image. anybody else

Ah sorry my bad, i mixed here something up. For the DesktopweatherXML you need to add a graphic -> image and choose a image from the samurize\skins\desktopweatherxml\temp folder.

you know, my weather info updates, but not the picture; i always have to reload--is there some setting i'm missing?

my suggestion is to get the plugin, don't use the script... while i appreciate that people put into the weather scripts, the plugin is far better... no refreshing manually... the info is refreshed as soon as your computer starts

all you need to do is change the location path of the icon to the directory you have the icons you want to use.

for example, for the main icon 'iconcc', you have to click the button 'change parameters' type in your location id/zip code, then you have the choice for the path to the icons... this is where you would put in the path to the icon set you want to use, e.g. for me i use an old set:

C:\Program Files\Samurize\Skins\DesktopWeatherXML\images\old

and that's it! just do this for any image you want to change, make sure it's pointing to the path the icon is in.
