[help] System Sounds

Yeah.. it has been awhile since my last post.. though.. no-one cares about that anyhow & I'll just go ahead and ask my question.

I've reached a certain point in my life - a point where I dont want to hear any maximize & minisize sounds from the system.

I have removed all the sounds from control panel > sounds and audio device properties > sounds.. but for some reason I still keep hearing some creepy clicks and well.. those damn sounds as I minisize or maximize windows (for example).

Also.. I'm using iconpackager, objectbar & windowblinds + windowsFX.. tried to find some sounds in there & disable them.. (isn't that stupid or what) - but as you might have already guessed: I didnt find anything and therefore couldnt disable it.

Any ideas?

If you're using WindowBlinds you need to disable WindowBlinds from using sounds.

Open wbconfig.exe (WindowBlinds Configuration Dialog)

Open Basic Settings from the sidebar on the left.

Under 'Enhance Desktop Elements' there should be an option called 'Use skin sounds (if any)'. It will be checked by default. Un-check it and then click on 'Apply Changes' on the sidebar.

You should not have anymore sounds now.

They all went away. I am in a lonely place. Thank you sid.. for some reason I missed that option.. ehehh. Well no more sounds for me - falls asleep as pressing "add reply.. "
