Aqua-Soft Forumshey guys, i was just wondering where i put all my visualization files [foobariPod_vis1, foobariPod_vis2 ...etc ]. I dont knwo where to put them so when i click on [Vis_DOWN or Vis_Up] it will change. thx if you need a better explanation, i can give it.

They go in the Configs folder.
Actually, if you unzipped while using folder names, they would be located appropriately.
i also have a problem with the guiplayer the play... buttons don't work;(
perhaps somebody can help me!!!
you need to run the guipodplayer installation.vbs on the samuriz folder to make buttons works

dude i have read the readme, and everything is in the right place, and i clicked on create foobar instance. so i dont know whats going on. :cry: i just want it to work, i love this soo much, i got the visualizations to work but i cant switch between them.

Same problem here, the script works great, but I'm unable to change between them, any action that requires the change of the config file won't work, this includes: changing vis, closing drawer, toggle text scolling. I think this could be because of the dir of the configs, "Configs\winampiPod" because if I run the Winamp instalation script it doesn't work either, I have to pass all my configs back to the configs dir tu put it to work.
Can someone help ?
i am unable to open drawer. but the vis works, i cant switch between them still. but i guess it doesn't matter, i'll just select a diff vis if i want another but i really like vis1 so i guess i'll keep it on that. THANKS AGAIN CRNI CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU COME UP NEXT.
oh p.s. can you make more ipod type things, not to where it looks like an ipod but makes it feel like an ipod.

for me the buttons to change vs works if i launch samurize with the shortcuts created by the Foobar iPod Installation.vbs file on my desk
if i launch samurize by an other shortcut it dosn't work.

Put your mouse over the samurize icon in the notification area/systray of your taskbar, please reply and tell me the mouseover message, whilst you're at it, please tell us which config file you currently have loaded.

It says Samurize Client FoobariPod. and i have foobariPod_vis1.ini. all the configs work i just cant use the drawer or the visualization toggler.
would it matter if i have 3 hard drives and my d drive is where my windows is located? i changed all the configs to point to the right drive but, i just cannot switch through the vis.
Do you have a copy of Norton installed?
I can't even install this script now because Norton Antivirus bans the file claiming that it's a virus. I just use the configs and make do with having to switch manually.
(Note: anyone with a NAV workaround that could provide me with help would be much appreciated and respected for eternity as this thing rocks).
I've had similar issues with my desktopx scripts reading textwriter output files. I finally gave up and disable script blocking in NAV..
You can add the scripts to allowed list, so NAV wont ask you again.
I can't open NAV... I uninstalled it ages ago (I now use mcafee) but it still blocks the scripts. I uninstalled it because it was bugging me, and it's still bugging me.
I dont know if this will help anyone but my buttons were not working with itunes...I had to change the bezel configs they said "C:\Program Files\Samurize\Skins\GUiPodPlayer\Bezels\iTunesControl\Play_Pause.exe" you need to change them to C:\Program Files\Samurize\Skins\GUiPodPlayer\Bezels\iTunesControls\Play_Pause.exe once I did that it worked perfectly.

I finally got the controls to work
But when I press the button to make, the ipod player expand, contract etc. It does none, no matter how many times I press it. Sometimes I get an error, saying something about registry blah, can't remember
Any help is welcomed
Also when the pod is closed, I get no orange or anything, yet if I go to edit screen, the orange rings and everything else is there
Have you restarted since you installed samurize?

Ok I reinstalled everything, and restarted. I can't even get the player to load in Samurize. (Is it suppose to stay in its itunesipod folder?)
I tried running the commandline, but no buenos on that as well.
Took the configs out the folder, and it loads now, but no visuals
I get the same closed player no matter what or how many times I press the button, no orange glow no nothing. WTH am I doing wrong? I read Crni's readme word for word, and even had someone else do it as well.
So, I have a problem with an Instance for winampiPod:
System: WinXP Pro (SP1), Winamp5, Samurize v1.31. All skins\scripts work is OK, but when i try click on navigation buttons on the skin I have a system error window.
