Cd Covers? For Itunes?

im seeing alot of these around on screenshots, can someone tell me what it is and if i can use it with itunes? :bummer:

You are correct, Sid... However, it cannot be used with iTunes as of right now. Scripts are constantly being written though, so maybe it will be soon

i'm not sure if your just referring to the ratings part rooksee or tide, but

all of that is functional for itunes(with samurize) except for the ratings stars.

from the sounds of it, the next samurize release could support displaying itunes ratings(through tropics or torsius's addin, sorry, i keep getting them mixed up), as over at samurize he's got a yes beside that in a list of features he's implemented/will implement.

so yeah, it works(ie. this screenshot shows a very basic samurize config working with itunes... it can all be done from within the config editor). I think most of those you've seen are probably crni's? which you could prob find at his site.

realitybath, out of curiousity, what version of Samurize are you using?? I am using 1.31, but I can't seem to be able to get the CDcover to work. I was told there was a problem with the plug-in in this version. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what version you are using.

hey fataxl, i'm using 1.30, i don't think there's too much dif. between 3 and 31 is there?

i just installed 3 five minutes before 31 came out so i can't be bothered to do again untill next bigger release(i'm really lazy).

did your plugins install correctly?(installed without itunes open)

does your AdvancedMediaPlayerInfo.opt look right(ie. maybe you have a wrong filepath)?

do you have really obscure music?

i dunno, maybe try and revert to 3?

oh, looks like there is a dif.

i don't have the installer anymore, i deleted it.

i have it installed though, i guess i could send you the samurize folder fataxl/radicals? maybe just replacing yours with mine would work.

or somebody around here must have the 1.30 installer.

pm me if you want my folder to see if it works.

i'm sure if there's a problem the samurize guys will fix it fast though, they're really good.

if you payed attention u`d know that the difference between (among few others) is that 1.31 has the new version of AMPI thus creating LOADS of probs (for me at least). I gave up on Samurize cause of the huge number of bugs in 1.31 (and my supposed to be relased configs relayed a lot on 1.31 & the new AMPI)

I`d try reverting back to 1.3 but since my new configs are relaying heavily on the new AMPI (and there are few very annoying bugs in 1.3), i just think it`s not worth the try.

Well, I appreciate everyone's help on getting this thing working correctly. I am happy to report that everything if working great now. What I did to get it working properly was: Installed on my machine v1.31, and copied over the following plug-ins from 1.30 that realitybath sent me, iTunesSamurizeInfo.dll, AdvancedMediaPlayerInfo.dll, and AdvancedMediaPlayerInfo.opt. After doing that everything is working perfectly. I just copied the plug-ins because at the time I didn't have a full version of 1.30.
