Aqua Dock is a rip of Y'zdock. If you add English.lang from Y'zDock into Aqua Dock you'll see Y'zDock.
that is because English.lang is actually a DLL and you can Reshack it as you want...
well I personally think that it's the same author. That's why it says version 1.0..if you remember the last one was 0.83 before it was canceled.
Aqua-Dock is a direct clone of Y'z Dock. And because of that Aqua-Dock is just as illegal as Y'z. I doubt that Mr. Y is behind this because he already got in huge trouble with his Y'z Dock.
if it is the same author, then I'd use it. Objectdock hasn't exactly been developed all that much and the latest beta shows no changes.

uh... yeah, and i have halflife2.1 that i'll sell you or anyone a copy for 30$ and its not stolen because its got a .1 and as you are so intelligent you can see this is a legitmate claim to authenticity as obviously 2.0 comes before 2.1 therefore its the real deal.

What's so special about Aquadock? Does it have better functionality then Y'z Dock 0.83? Then what's the big deal about enhancing someone's app? As long as Mr. Y will get his credit for it, I will give credit to the one enhancing it and be glad...
So... What's better about Aquadock?
You can't just reverse engineer an app and give the author "credit". Mr. Y stopperd working on Yz dock because of apple, which means nobody else should continue it.

stateo, first of all the author is unknown...so nobody is taking credit for this release.
second it just simply runs much smoother, same options, not exactly the same as Apple because icon animations when you click on them are taken out now, it has a different effect. So obviously, "somebody" tried to avoid 100% look of apple dock. Everything is pretty much the same, but the bottom line is it feels much smoother and faster now.

AquaDock is not original, it is Y'z Dock and is nothing more then a Reshacked Y'z .83. There is no new functionality, there isnt ANY new code, the name has been been changed throughout the .exe that is all.

Simply put, its a fake, not a clone, nothing new, and is complete bull****.

What did you think when we were saying it was a rip? An exact clone? Now all of a sudden you see the light? That's what we been trying to tell you all along. Now you make it sound like it was all a test. I don't appreciate you giving all of us a shoulder and then when you figure out you're wrong, you are on our side.

hey wizard, I don't really see what your problem is...nobody said anything similar as gnubug. I thought I felt that it was running a bit faster and I still do, but what gnubug said made sense.

Finally I really don't care if you're personally offended or not. Mostly everything that's happening in these forums is in one way or another illegal or at least immoral. Design of one OS is protected intelectual property and no modification changes that, but I respect people because I personally also enjoy having my system at least look a bit like that. I'm no skinner, I'm just a user and when I ask/say something I expect someone to tell me why something is as they claim, not just because they said so, so please don't preach to me.
