Problems With Pop3 Checking

I've set up mobydock to check my mail via POP3.

I can see through my firewall (the firewall is not blocking mobydock at all) that it tryes to connect to the server but it doesnt do anything afterwards: as in notify of any error... or simply say that there is no new mail.

any help would be much appreciated!

lol... fixed the issue

a new item must be created in mobydock, and under its settings (item properties) "use this item to notify me aobut new mails" must be selected.

Hope this helpps other noobs out there =)
