Need Info On Selling Some Dell's

Hey,

I have this dell optiplex gx1 computer that i am planning to upgrade. The price without the upgrade is $99.00, i want to upgrade it and sell it for a price around $300. Before i go spend chump change on some old school parts to make it at least a system that can play RTS and RPG's and a few low res 3d games. Will anybody want to buy it? that all i need to know! im planning to put it up on ebay for $300 once upgraded but i figured that ishould check with the forum first before i let myself down

48x cd rom drive AND 4x/2x/20x cd writer (2nd bay)

I think you could probably get $300 for that system (with included monitor).

check prices on the parts at www.pricewatch.com and www.resellerratings.com. based on my memory of market prices, i wouldn't pay more than $200 for the hardware (and probably less), but other people may want to buy it for more. check out ebay and compare prices on similar systems to get an idea about the street price of that machine.

yeah its cool since i got the pc for nothin and it runs XP pro like a chram but i still would like to get some cash out of it so i can save up to get a PB G4 this fall. i'll check pricewatch and other sites and see what i can find. Thanks for the info

I sold my 1.3 tbrd/40gig HD/ 8x cdr/512 megs of RAM/mx420 GPU for a fair price of 300$

300$ for that system is too much, 200 would be about right.
