I've created this png which can be stretched around and used to replicate the Panther look with AveDesk.
I thought I better mention how its done....
1. create a shortcut and use the png (you can disable left clicks)
2. create a new shortcut or desklet and lay it over the top.
3. you will now have the panther selected look on your desktop 
dude! this thing is really cool. I was surfing my buddie's iBook just this morning and thinking, many, why can't my avedesk icons have the panther boarder for my icons?
Low and behold, you've come to rescue with this nifty, little icon. It looks so basic, but it's so enhancing. I've got it ordered to be "always on bottom" and it fits so nice and snug behind my icon. Perfect! thanks man! Mucho appreciat-o! 
i think the next version of avedesk 1.1 will have this option!! im not sure when 1.1 is coming out but i hear its in beta testing and bug fixes etc

I tried to use it but even I set up "always at bottom" it affects my foreground desklet and I have no effect when I click the desired icon.
So even at bottom with no shortcut or leftclick enabled it affects my config.
Do anyone has an issue for this issue ?
you could set it as a shortcut to the same thing as the congif ur using it with

yes but for curscreen and recyclebin desklet ....how do I ?

Well it sounds like you will have to wait for AveDesk 1.1 I'm afraid - unless Andreas can suggest a way around it.

You could edit the png to to include it as part of your recycle bin or drive pngs... like this. That way you wont have to have another shortcut in ave desk...
1.1 is the answer, people. it's coming soon. andreas is king.
edit: sorry, didn't meant to be rude, your stop-gap solutiontion looks pretty cool nevertheless. :-D
one more way to make a simple png with label and the panther selected look would be to use ave-atar to create your png... maybe like this?

thanks for theses ideas to bypass ...hum ...hooo....( no I cannot tell "limitations" because Avedesk HAS NO Limitations ) and another app from AndreasV has the solution !
