Comdlg32.ocx In Windows Xp?

Bloody Microsoft and there stupid licensing system.

I'm trying to convert all my music from WMA to MP3 (completely legit and they haven't got the DRM on them as I turned it off when copying from CD) so that I can put it on my iPod.

As opposed to going through and copying them all again using iTunes (We're talking about 1000 song playlist in WMA format, that takes a long time to name). I tried finding a WMA/MP3 convertor, sure enough there are loads of them on the net. Here's the problem, they all appear to need comdlg32.ocx which doesn't ever work properly in Windows XP.

Can someone give me a hand fixing the file. I followed Microsoft's instructions up until the point where it said:

"comdlg32.ocx needs a valid license installed by one of the following programs to work:

Office 97 or any of the parts of it

Visual Basic 5."

Well guess what I don't have either of those, I have Office XP and VB.net. :rant:

Or alternatively tell me of a convertor that doesn't require the comdlg32.ocx controls? Thank you very much.

I fixed it, When the installer tried to register comdlg32.ocx windows was using the broken ones that are already in Windows, I just had to manually register the new files.

Damned Stupid XP. They stoped using the comdlg32.ocx and comctl32.ocx in preference for people using the re-written comctl32.dll and comdlg32.dll as it took up less memory, hence XP and .net both have broken versions that although allow you to mess around with them, they don't register so other programs can't use them.

Also, that auto installer provided by Microsoft doesn't work cause of the Windows File Protection system.
