Controlling Itunes Via Firefox Statusbar?

Hi,

I think it would be very nice, if it would be possible to control iTunes (Foobar, Winmap) via the Firefox statusbar.

There should be a "previous" and a "next" button, and maybe the song title (or other informations) all displayed in the statusbar.

I looked for something like this but couldn't find.

Could this be realized? Has it been released? What do you think about it?
