I created a new shellstyle.dll. So i can give the Windows real Finder Border thickness and a full funktional Explorer Toolbar.
But i need a liddle bit help in css stylesheet.
Is there a way to make the left container resizable?

And now I'm just veeeerrrryyy curious, for I've had too many disappointments trying all the finder clones available...
What will this be? Is this a modification of the windows explorer? Will this window pop up whenever I click a folder? Will this have all functionality available in explorer?
Or is this some other skin for some other very hot looking app, that has not so hot features and has unhot bugs which make it all unworkable?

:naughty: How did you get in the snow version, Harddrive, Network, Music etc? I thought it only showed what it usually shows with the taskbar enabled?
This is full Funktionality. The second is a imagebackground. You can use it with funktionality Explorertoolbar ore with a iomagebackground.
It is in the shellstyle implanted.
Does it style all of windows? Or just the explorer?
Will we be able to adjust the toolbar? (Pantherstyle?)

The shellstyle is ever in all VisualStyles.

I am afraid not all of the aquaboardmembers are aware what the shellstyle.dll or any other .dll represent...
So when someone simply sais: I made this or that .dll and gives a stunning screenshot, not everyone will understand which part of the screenshot represents the tweaked .dll that the shot is supposed to represent.
I am one of those that do not know the exact function of every .dll.
But if I am correct now, it changes the common tasklist in explorer. So that means the toolbar icons were changed in another .dll or using Y'z toolbar. And some other question is: how did you get rid of the ordinary menu? (file edit view favorites extra help)

its a mod in the common task list in explorer..which means it will has explorer's default address bar which is squre not rounded.
This has asked before..but is there a working way to change the address bar to have rouned corners in explorer to furthur the explorer into finder?
Also since you mod the common task list..does that mean we can't add our own icons or folders to the ones we want on the left side?

I understand that it mods the common tasks, and is not an application like XPlore. I understand that I can enable the shellstyle and it will look like this.
But - do we have to use a VS you release, or can we just use this .dll with any VS? I never use common tasks, so I don't know exactly how they are implemented.
By the way - this is a brilliant idea! I'm extremely excited about this new development.

Great going, I can't even understand how to edit a shellstyle.dll file, i can edit skins in reshacker, build websites in XHTML, PHP and Perl but I can't understand the insides of that damned file. Well Done
btw Steph, you can't use CSS to create resizeable borders, it would have to be javascript which I don't think the shellstyle.dll file allows.
