I know a really good company, bu right now i cant remember the name. They make SFF PCs in a range of finishes, with ports on the front(USB, Firwire etc) on the front, and they also come wth slot loading CD dirve: Te best bit, they look nice :) I'l find the adress later and get back to you.

I'm replying also cuz i'm interested in getting something different myself, as it doesn't look like i'm gonna get a g5 anytime soon :( .

sorry to sound harsh, but that is one of the ugliest cases i`ve ever seen!

and while it tries to look Mac-ish, it fails miserably :6

wow there ridiculously overpriced there, look at the prices for SATA and optical drives, there like 2-3x there PC counterparts (ironicaly the same brands and modles too)

And 300$ for a case, once you put hardware in it you can afford an entry G5

Whats funny is that when the case 1st went up it was $200. I almost bought one. I bought a house instead. :D

 excuse me thats my case!

anywho... the picture dont do it justice trust me the photo has picked out all the lines in black you cant notice them in life the case comes wrapped in protective plastic and when you peal it away the entire case is like the side of a G4. Its a really nice case and does come in other colours.... As for the price I paid £70 which is about $125 so Id shop around.

If you want a Apple case then you cant get any closer than buying a G5 like MetalMusicAddict said and which I am considering but it is a lot of hassle to get the parts to fit. If your not in a hurry wait a bit because Suntek are bringing out further 2 Appleish cases which include this same case with a more G4 handle and G4 holes and also a G5ish case with similar G5 handles. I saw them on Spymac but theyve took the search offline AGAIN <_<

Better looking pics, but still not the prettiest thing. The thing about apple cases are , they all have flows where they feel natural, lines that meld and blend. The Suntek case doesnt really have any of those, I don't mean that it's the ugliest thing in the world, I just mean they took ideas from 3 apple designs (the G4 Quicksilver, the Whittie of the Emac, and the plastic coated goodness of the G4 cube) and tried to meld them together. Unfortunately, you can't do that, it comes off looking like a warped case that was left near a stove too long.

How about cheaper PowerMac G4 Quick Silver Case. It is harder to mod than G5 Case but it is cheaper ($199) :D

Or if you like iMac or iPod, look Aopen XC

the aoopen XC actually looks really nice :D great lan box, already have a shuttle so buying another xpc for me is out of the question : /

but im gunna actaully make the ultimate g5 case most likly this summer. Its gunna be more of a file server hosting dual raids with dual boot linux and windows.

as i was reading in the board and based on the pictures i see that its pretty tough to make a full size ATX case into the computer...so i might actually have to get a mini-atx like that. Which is no biggie

the biggiest part of this project is im going to actaully try to make the interior stylish and follow the g5 steps hahaha
