Windows Picture Viewer

I would like to know how to create a shortcut to Windows Picture Viewer from the doc since I can't find it as an exe. I'm assuming it is part of explorer itself and is called upon using rundll32.

Is there anyway to make a shortcut to it from the dock? Also I remember Taha showing us a sceenshot where the picture occupied the entire frame and the controls and borders were all gone. Maybe someone could let me know how to do that too...

I don't know why you would want something like that since you won't be able to see anything at all or open any file unless you include the file name and directory of what you want to see when you click on the icon.

Anyway, here is the command:

Title: Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

Link: rundll32.exe

Arguments: shimgvw.dll,imageview_fullscreen [optional picture file location]

eg: shimgvw.dll,imageview_fullscreen C:\Documents and Settings\AV Editing\My Documents\My Pictures\picturename.jpg

one good reason to have this would be so that in Double Click, it would by default open, in say photoshop..

however.. if all you want to do is preview.. you could drag it onto the preview button..
