No offense, but your mouseovers and some of the layout looks really sloppy. The active and nonactive graphics dont matchup and it just cant compete with some of the others
Sure it has alot of features, but it has to look nice as well
This is your opinion. and maybe some mouse overs aren't as perfect as a real OS X should be. At least they are the REAL BLUE OS X color.
Also you have to notice that most of the theme doesn't use fonts but BITMAPS taken straight from a true Mac.
So in terms of matching the reality..... thats just a picture of the reality
When you mouse over some of them, the text gets shifted in a different direction or the top gets cut off, etc
The color may be correct but that's it
ALso, the spacing of some of the items in the system tray menus seem too far
Nothing personal, just constructive criticism, youve got something to build off of, but it;s still a bit rough

Just let me say that there are other very RECOGNIZED bars in wich everything is wrong but the mouseovers are perfect (well, the color isn't).
If you have wrong size of the menus, wrong backgrounds,
wrong fonts but mouseovers are good... you want that ?
This has to be the best OB theme I have used....Except I ge this bug

Hmmm, dont quite know what happend to the image quality, so here is a direct link
as you can see the when using internet explorer, or any other app for that matter, the font for the File, Edit,etc.. is way to small, and also for some reason the bar itself has no shadow, and yes I use WindowFX 2 so no problem there, can you, if at all possible, fix these bugs?.

let's see:
First: The problem with shadow has nothing to do with one bar or another. I personally use YZ shadow for the bar and the shadow is ALWAYS there.
Second: The string finder file edit view go window help
isn't made with fonts but with original bitmaps taken from a mac. Finder is always showing so it never changes when another application or window is opened but for the rest when they change they are windows Lucida Grande fonts
so they doesn't look so good (with windows they just cannnot look better !). but anyway what I see in your picture is a very small font. maybe you don't have in your system the correct font installed. Also enable CLEAR TYPE in order to get better quality.
I personally prefer to not allow the commands in the bar change in every application so I have the string finder file edit view go window help ALWAYS showing. I know they change in OS X but we are in windows my friend !

with all the respect i have for your passion and desire to contribute there r couple of things that may be a lil not connecting with the way you handle your posts and themes.
You show your theme off as if its like the most identical one ever. just a lil while ago, mageguru had a theme really nicely made based on the mac, and recently, Bsiple has completed a new one almost from scratch based on MAC's screen shots obvioulsy identical. 
so i dont see why you have to create few threads for "your" theme? there is no need to have a one-sided comparison of the best theme ever if other themes are already using the mac resources just like yours. im affraid you make it look like your theme is the only one with the mac resources.. - im not trying to put you down my friend, but trust me, many people think you are making a clown out of yourself.
nothing is wrong, and no appology needed of course, but you need to understand you are doing this whole thing on air.

McPinty, I love your bar and how realistic the fonts are, but I am afraid I agree with ztiworoh. They are nothing good if the mouse overs get screwed up like that. Its like you have something good but then when you actually go to use it, then goodness all goes away and gets ruined. I personally think your bar does look the closest and most realistic of them all. But thats only what the bar looks like stand-alone. When it is used, the ugliness comes out, and if you fixed that it would be perfect. As a metaphor, the cover looks nice, but the inside is not as nice as the cover; if you know what I mean. Just fix those mouse over issues and you'll be all set! Nice bar man! Keep it up!
I think this theme is very good because I am using Windows XP for China.The Lucidagrade font type has some little problem with Chinese font types so if I copy this font to my system fold the outlook of the desktop's font will be very ugly.So I think using bitmap would be a awesome solution.
But I still have some suggestion is that I'd be glad to see that it would apply shadows to the drop-down of the bar with windowFX.

Jmitch: Have you tried the last version ? was uploaded while the forums were down. mouseovers are ok. let me say that. at least are good enough.
PS: I will remade soon some of the mouseovers (Not all) the ones in which you perceive a little text offset.
