ok, i never actually noticed this before but after i installed StefanKa System Files (english) my background tab went proof in the desktop properties...
anyone know how to fix this..? or does anyone know the file(s) that this pertains to so i can set it back to defualt.

Oh man, this happened to me like 2 years ago (obviously from a nother reason). Do you by any change have an nVidia graphics card?
did this happen after you applied the system files pack? you'll have to switch back to the default files to get it back if that's the case.
which file it is, i'm not sure. hopefully someone else knows. 
no nvidia is crap. me 
and i know i gotta replace it with the original. the prob is i dont nkow which file this pertains to.

if no one knows, you can replace them one by one. it'll be tedious, but at least you'll fix it.
