does anyone know a program that will change your icons on ur system that i dont have to pay for, and wont completely screw up my comp?

iconphile is good and is enough for me.

you can also reshack shell32.dll. completely free.

Although I would choose IconPhile, it is a bit buggy. For some reason it won't change a .zip icon. It gets weird like that. Just a warning.

If you're too lazy to make your own shell32.dll file, download one from someone else. Make sure the version matches yours, and replace it (keeping a backup of your old one).
