Paint like app

Is there any paint-like app on os x? what's it called? what's the icon for it?

The thing is, you can view photo's in iPhoto, you can view other pics in Quicktime, but that's about it. Otherwise, you need 3rd party software to edit pics.

paint-like app? lol. Apple doesnt release "toys" for applications, as Duckie says, a third party software is needed to make that, they should make one, but paint is nothing great, it has many limitations plus it sucks.

photoshop is the best for both platforms in my opinion

about being the best there is no doubt, but it costs a lot 600+ usd
