Mozila Firefox Question

is there any way to set firefox to open each url i type in the address bar in a new tab by default?

Why dont you just hit the open new tab button before typeing in your url?

because that is 1 extra click that i would like to avoid. i have been using slimbrowser for the past year or so and really liked how it handeld it's tabs and was hoping firefox would do it the same way.

Hold down the ALT key when you hit Enter.

yeah i found that in the tab extentions settings with a little help from Bolero. but is there any way of having it happen everytime, when i jsut hit enter (without having to hold down alt)

i know it may seem picky... i'm just asking :)

There's an option for opening all typed in links in a new tab in Tab browser extensions.

tabextensions options==>advanced use====> under open in tabs always check for "input from location bar"

You didn't follow realitybath's instructions... It's the Advanced Use section, not Advanced.
