After I had done a Windows logo in this style a while back I got a bunch of requests for an Apple version, so here it is!

I have a suggestion tough, i saw the black preview in the image you posted and i liked that idea more than the centered apple one (go figure) . How about a huge apple that only shows from the bottom left corner? do you know what i mean?

@rpeterclark: My suggestion is just a smaller apple placed in any corner of the screen actually. I'd very much prefer an empty desktop.

the walls are very cool, but the apple logo doesn't seem to look like it should...it looks too tapered near the bottom and the leaf isn't supposed to touch the apple. but again, i love the effect and the wall looks great.
