laurel is a girl, not a guy, so it should be:

Hey woman! Nice dock! How did you get the overlay effect in YZ's? I though it was only available for OD...

BTW here's mine...

Haha—I'm amused. I am a woman, but eh—whatever works. I'm used to being addressed as a guy on forums, esp. computer-related ones. I was once an admin on a DC hub, and the other admins had no idea that I wasn't a guy...

But I digress. Anyway, it's not actually an overlay, per se. I just took the pngs I had in the dock already and layered the grass dock foreground and background (which I got by converting the original Mac .rsrc files from the IHeartNY Dock Lawn distribution, as the XP versions only go up to 48x48) onto each one in Photoshop and then saved copies. To make the background I messed around a bit with resizing pieces of grass icon until I got a dock background that stretched well and still looked grassy. I decided to do the dock lawn when I found this great stock photo that's like a more detailed, more sinister version of Microsoft's "Bliss" wallpaper—as you can see, the dock blends in quite well.

bunkka, you can take a screenshot on a mac by just pressing shift+apple+3... it will make a pdf screenshot on the desktop, open it in preview, and export as whatever you want

oh ya i know how to take screenshots, its just when i use grab and make selections of parts of my desktop i want, i wish the grab icon wasn't in the dock. but i doubt we can get around it.

And here is mine :D

dock.jpg, yes, this is the right size... thats how it appears on my Screen ;)

Finder, Safari, Mail, Adium (docklet conversion by me), iTunes, VLC, KDX | Safari window minimized, Trash can

@Bunkka: you can do the same with command + option + 4. It then asks you to select the area you want to screenshoot.

Also, try pressing spacebar after command + option + 4. Then you click a window and it takes a ss of that window in specific ;)

I think it has been said enough times in this thread (without counting the times it has been said outside here).

Inline images cannot be larger than 500 pix x 375 pix.

As we have warned you too much already. Next person to not follow that rule here will get a warning from me and his post will be deleted.

Consider yourselves warned.
