Thumbnail Box Remove

Hi I am looking a way to remove the gray square box when you choose thumbnail view in explorer. Or at least to mode it white so it blends in with the white background in my case. Anyone ever attempted such mod...or any hints to where I should start?

Thankx! :moon:

do you get it with every visual style you apply? it might be associated with the particular theme you're using.

As far as I know, the box doesn't change regardless of what VS I apply to. Its something XP has by default.

Only thing is I want to make the thumb view look better without the box around each pics.

Anyone knows how?

The value is that of the "3D Face" color.

If you use 3D Color Changer (a great program to have) you can change the value to whatever your "Window" color is.

3D Color Changer

Everyone should have this very small program.

You can get some nice color schemes right here.

If you happen to have StyleBuilder on hand, I just found the value.

- Go to the Classic Colors group in the left-hand column

- find the value "btnface"

- change the value to match the "Window" value
