Aqua-Soft ForumsCan you please bring back the badges for the admin/mod/developer groups please? It makes it a lot easier to see who's posting what. The news poster badges don't make a difference but the others do.

Many developers got badges thanks to the ex-staff :goku:
Contributors are as worthy as any other group, there are enough developers and staff members who are completely gone just as much.
infact, members should have a badge as well. Nobody gives a slight F about the count of your posts. :moon:

let me put this in a analogy...if i can...
"Group: Global Moderator" [is to] graphic that says "Moderator" [as] a folder that says "Pictures" [is to] a folder with a color label that says "Pictures" to help point it out easier
i think that is the point of color labels in panther is to help point things out, i think it would be good to put them back because it makes things easier to see. isn't that always a good thing? usability is the key, and i think it was something that was a good idea...please put them back...

you guys make a big deal out of nothing, badges are staying off for now so get used to it.
The point is that us mods don't want to "stand out". We don't want users acting nice to us just because we have a little power. If they don't realize we're mods and are assholes, well, that sucks for them.
So no, we DONT want it pointed out easier.

I remember contra the notorious knee jerk to shine his badge all over tha planet when I first made him a mod. I remember the days he used to complain why members dont get one but after he got a punch to his buck tooth by :goku: , he had no other choice but to stick to his stars. He even put a general's picture in his profile titling it, general of stars.

I HAD a badge (Senior Member) that I got without request, and I asked you to remove it, because I thought BADGES WERE STUPID (ooh, a pattern).
I also asked for Tim to remove the post counts and stars numerous times. The General Contrasutra thing was a joke because I had like 13 stars and it was actually causing the site to get all misaligned.
So I don't know what forum you were reading.
