Now can some1 tell me howto install some of those appz

I did download some of them and there in my PC right now

can I just burn them to a CD and then use it on a G4

like you have

.dmg

.bin

.sit

.hqx

can some1 explain each one for me as I'll be getting a

Dual 1ghz G4 soon and will like to know howto so i don't look dumb

i would explain you every one of those extensions, but in the mac, you just double click it and you have everything layed out for you in the most friendly way ever.

Thanks G so it's ok to burn them onto a CD from my PC

oh another thing just remembered when i burn it using Nero

is there any adjustments i need to make cause of the long file names I would gues right...

i actually dont think any tweaking is neccesary.

i already burnt mac CD on my PC and they ran flawlessly, so i think its ok.

leave it as is

yup, works perfectly. You could use the built-in XP CD copier.

As long as you keep the CD in the ISO9660 format and not Joliet format you will be ok and shouldn't have any file name truncating. Good Luck.
