Safari-like Skin For Opera 7.0
Looks pretty good and accurate, too bad I stopped using Opera. I hate having ads and I wont pay for a browser when Mozilla is free, and IMO, better.
How many people use Opera anyway, just wondering. And what code is opera Based on?
For market research and technical information on Opera, I suggest you read their web site.
How much RAM does Opera take up, on the site, it just says: Its the fastest Browser (without any evidence). Ive tweaked Phoenix and im getting really fast speeds. You wouldnt believe its dialup (until your try to get streaming video or download something).
In terms of it's RAM usage, that varies, depending upon caching options, number of connections, number of open pages etc.
As it stands right now on my system, it's using 32 meg. That's with 3 tabbed browsers open, around 8 megs of cache and numerous connections open.
In terms of it's speed. I've been using since it's 5.0 days and it's faster than anything else I've tried. It renders like lightning.
The new 7.0 rendering engine is also much more accurate.
All those things and the fact that it's only a 3.4 meg down load, statisfy my needs very well.
I haven't even bothered looking at another browser in quite some time now.
All the best,

For those of you who have used this theme...how accurate is it? I don't want to buy Opera and find out the skin sucks....not to say it does...it could very well rock. Is it just Safari-like or is it a close match to Safari?
Other than a poor brushed aluminum skin, I don't think it looks much like Aqua/or/Safari but you be the judge.
I love opera but am using Phoenix right now because of the exceptional Safri skin that lynchknot has made. See it at http://home.attbi.com/~lynchknot/phoenix.html
Would anybody be willing to take a shot at this for Opera 7.0? I have no design skills at all or else I'd do it myself.
