How Do You Post Images?

I did a search for tutorials, reviewed 8 pages of search results, and didn't find an answer. I'd like to know if there is a tutorial on postings images. What I'm referring to is a post that contains an image as an example of the post topic, sometimes with arrows pointing to specific items. I'm assuming you use some type of image editing software, save the image, then attach it when you post, but I'm not sure, which is why I'm asking if a tutorial exists. I understand that this may be a basic level of computing required to participate in this forum, without which one should first learn, then return. However, I've noticed the general helpful nature of members here, so I figured I would take a shot and ask. I apologize in advance if I'm wasting anyone's time.

Anyhow, yeah i usualy just attach an image ive cut down in size with my copy of photoshop. (its got to be under 60k)

The other meathod that you can do is find a webhost for you images. I dont have any off hand, but after you get it uploaded to a webhost, you use the IMG button on top of the post window, and it kinda steps you through it

Ok, basically, if you want to attach an image to the post, make sure you have exported the file as a jpg or other compressed image type so that the size of the file is less than 60kilobytes.

How you do this? you could use a wide range of freeware and shareware iamging programs as well as the well know Photoshop, and Corel Photo Paint and so on.

You might want to look for infranview, the gimp and many more.

Look for imagin software on www.download.com
