[help] Creating Date/time

how can i display 12-hour time without using the am/pm switch?

well, maybe you guys can figure out a better way to do this. i want to have 12-hour time with the seconds and am/pm grouped together on the right, as in the picture (i want the time and seconds to have different fonts). the only way i could manage this was by having 2 separate meters: time and seconds/am/pm.

if i want to have 12-hour time, i need to add am/pm to the time meter, but that shows up and there's no way i can eliminate it.

any ideas?

thanks.

The only way I've seen it done is to have the leading "0" showing, for instance 05:30.

You would use "hh:mm ampm" as the format, align text to the left and close the box up over the am or pm on the right. ;)

d'oh, i'm so stupid.

thanks for the suggestion! :)

can't you just adust the textbox size so that the pm is there but isn't displayed (play with centered/left/right bias too.)

edit: oops, you already got it.

oh, an question. is it possible to have dynamic rectangles? i.e. rectangles that automatically change sizes depending on the meter it's situated around (or dynamic meter sizes)?

i don't think so, why what do you want to do?

are you just having alignment issues?

nah, i was wondering if it was possible so i could create "boxed" configs that dynamically resize.

thanks for the reply. :)
