i was considering buying an emac, my question is, does it have a plug so i can plug in a second monitor ? i ask this because if i was to buy it i want to put the emac on my computer desk, then have another monitor running to my guitar/minirecording studio, so i can operate the emac near my sound equipment, using wireless mouse and keyboard of course.
Emac Video Out
The eMac has a mini-VGA port and will work fine with any monitor that does not use DVI, ie most LCDs and all CRTs that I know of. (http://www.apple.com/emac/specs.html) From what I can gather about the eMac, it can only do video mirroring thereby limiting you to one desktop. If you want to extend your desktop beyond one monitor I dont think you will be able to using the eMac.
even if it doesn't theres gotta be some type of usb plug that wouuld enable it if emac didn't have it.
thanks noname, thats all i need, i dont need two monitors running at the same time. looks like emac will be enough for me ![]()
