Aqua-soft's New Mascot

i was cleaning out my fishbowl yesterday (yeah my life is boring like that) when it totally occurred to me that aqua-soft needs a mascot: may i present mac, jr

Meet Mac!

the story behind this little guy --a few of my pc-lovin' friends were over at my apartment making fun of my computer (you know, the usual 'why don't you just get a mac' spiel). when i mentioned i needed a name for my new fish, one of my friends said, "why don't you name him mac, so you can finally say you own a mac" to which my other friend replied "yeah, so that way you can stop putting a dress on your pc instead"

anyhoo, i figure, hey, aqua... fish... it pretty much sells itself! oh, and this guy is named mac, jr because my first fish died under mysterious circumstances. i suspect one of my friends got drunk and poured vodka into the fishbowl.

what do you guys think?

I like the fish, but for mascot nothing's better than the n00bers, I've read some awesome replies today! (i.e. clean your monitor with two conducive metal rods and a wet washcloth...)

beta's are way over rated, and over done.

Now an oscar. that's a fun fish you can find any ol' pet store. I've seen oscar's tear apart beta's in just a few hours. We bought 2 beta's, and 2 oscars at the store one time for fun. The oscar's punked the hell out of those beta's. After a few weeks we started buying 10-15 gold fish at a time, our big oscar "dodie" would swallow a gold fish whole. The other one "kind" would bite them in half in one swipe.. it was good fun. then a few weeks later his cat decided he was tired of them thinking they were bad ass.

it really is good fun though, if you have $20 to waste, go to a store, buy a little jank ass aquruium, and 2 oscars and some random other fish. give it a few weeks, your oscars will eat gold fish whole. sure, the fun wears off after a while, but it's sure as hell neat while it lasts.

i think the idea is kinda cool. but don't use a beta. they always look dead. that is, unttil you try to feed them... evil fish... ANYWAYS, my rodrigo and bubbles are way cooler then any beta, so there. use something like a goldfish or one of those cool saltwater species. those are nifty.
