In Need Of Partner(s)...

I am looking for someone to partner up with who can program theme's very well. We will be making an OS X theme set, this will include the theme, icon set, splash screen, boot screen, the whole works. I have all the graphics ported from Mac OS X Panther 10.3 and I can get ahold of all the little tideous backgrounds for windows (ie the safari browsers background, the brushed metal look, I already can get get all the graphics for that.) This will not be publicly released considering apple like's lawsuits, we will dustribute it to trusted friends of course.

If anyone is interested in teaming up with me please let me know, I feel that this would be what Linux and KDE need. Oh that's right, it will be programmed for mainly KDE 3.2 but eventually will be ported into Gnome, maybe. Although Gnome already has a few excellent Panther themes available.

We might even take it as far as porting the OS X sounds over, although that wouldn't be too hard since all I would have to do is convert the audio files. If you would like to help out please reply back, PM me, or e-mail me about this ASAP!

so what you're saying is.. you can control click and view packges contents.. and copy and paste?

and your seeking someone who can actually create the theme?

sounds good sign me up for that "steal resources" side of things. I got OS X server so I'm sure I can steal even more images for whatever monkey you find to actually put them to use.

what do ya mean program...its just images. I'd help in making a gnome theme but my linux partition was destroyed and my friend has my fedora installation cds...sry.

Well I already have the images, I just need someone who can develope the theme and actually make the images, well work.

I just want to find a theme that is just like Mac OS X, I'm not trying to rob Apple of their profiets. I would buy a brand new Mac G5 right here right now if I had money, or even a job. I just can't do that right now, and soon I will be out of school and not going back to the Macs there. Plus, it's a beautiful look and I want a KDE Aqua theme that actually can be considered an "Aqua theme." All of the OS X Aqua themes I have found we so pitiful that they need to not call themselves a Aqua theme!
