Theres also macromedia freehand, its a nice app as well.
Vectors
whar do you mean trace? as in draw every line with your mouse? or is it just a plugin? 
I make my "pseudo-vectors" in Photoshop. I love the cutout filter.
If I find myself with a lot of time, I'll go to the pen tool.
I'm using Corel 11 for this things of work to do... nah... don't laugh... some say its kiddy-prog, but i'm working with it for about 8 years and its great.... i'm doing this vectorize-job all day (for vinyl-cutting) and i love to do it with corel...

i'm just starting to get into vectors and i'm using Photoshop. I have illustratotr, but for now i feel more comfertable using Photoshop.

so are you saying that under your reign posts, even whole threads didnt disapear without a trace (as far as nonmods are concerned)? Cause i can rember a whole bunch of them.
Hi, after posted the Tutorial yesterday i thought i should give it a try.
Never used Illustrator before (Was installed on my new Laptop from work from beginning, but I also tried everything with pseudo-vectors in Photoshop.
So an totally ****, only this one Tut and 1 hour of work until now.

the skin will have 6 or 7 different colors in the end, only run out of time yesterday, Ear an hair wil also follow.
But i think the result is good for a first try. Really nice Program ![]()
