man id love to have my pc fridged like that
i started this thread cause I wanted to see whats the rough average and if my sys temp are legit.
I believe that for some odd reasons the temp isnt ok (or the temp meter is off)

is yours the case or cpu temp? what processor, motherboard, and what do you use to read the temps?
my specs:
3.06 p4 HT + 9700pro aiw
Aside the fans on the HT chip and the CPU/GPU, there are 3 more fans. Two came with the case, 1 I bought cause its right next to the cpu. I got lots of shiz that came with the case so it looks really fancy/geeky inside.
I got a temp meter that came with the case and it has an lcd monitor in the front of it. the meter is very generic its not hooked up to the fans or anything. It hangs in the middle of the case to get an overall temp.
So,
Temp of the SYSTEM, case or whatever you call that, was always around 70f no matter where i stick that meter (of course it changes slightly when relocated) - Cpu i guess was 100f, which makes sence.
Now its like around 90f and cpu is 120f.
BTW celius rulz.
ahh, then your temps are fine. i wouldn't worry about them. ![]()
-5 degrees?
watercooling? nitrogen cooling?
Hey Goku, why havent i seen pictures of that l;ittle mosnter my parents wont buy me ![]()

I hate you....no reason. Just :6

is it because that quantum computer of yours is not giving you decent framerate on quake?? ![]()
Last night my AMD AThlon XP 2600+ Barton become 53c(127,4F), one of the fan is out of service
Gotta fix it.
seph, ill post a picture of my precious I just dont find the time nor camera to do so
Perhaps a movie?
btw If u live in dubai I guess your second computer is a G5 dual 2.6 and a quad 23" apple display. So dont bother posting your computer pics, I bet I know how it looks inside out.
Id love to see a video of it too
but i certainly HAVE to see it ![]()
And my main comp is a dual 2.0 G5, i just recently switched, and i dont have a 23'' screen (WTF does quad mean, four of them? lol) I have a sony 19'' lcd that i got when i sold my old pc.. see?
well i get it sometime soon.

????????????
AMD 2600+,333 @ 49C Zalmans CNPS7000A-Cu for cooling. Its super quiet.
bunkka, are you up 400mhz FSB with that overclocking? If you got a link or tips PM/IM me.
AMD 2500 @ 3200... 33 Celcius Idle, 37 Celcius Load.
Fan: Vantec AeroFlow on low speed
perfect combo.. 2500 Oc'd with a vantec... its sweet

seph, amds "athlon xp" run cooler than p4's. so i can believe it.

yes its 400mhz fsb. but i have a 2500+, you cant overclock 2600+ to a 3200+ "like 2500+" because of its limitations.
Got a new Avance pc case, my athlon xp 2600+ cpu is now 40c.

same here, same fan as well.....YA!
@Bunkka: i have always run athlon (including 4 differnt xp's) and they were ALWAYS hotter than P4's, maybe i was in bad luck hehehe...
@Sid: remember? http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/index.php?s...20computer&st=0
You said:Any idea how many fps I'll get in Quake 3 on that quantum machine thingy?
Sorry I'm a ****.
Stevie said: @Sid: On a 32 qubit machine, you'd get 0-12884901885000000000 FPS, all at the same time. Until you plug your monitor in, at which point, the FPS would be any one in that range at any given moment... So, effectively, for any given CPU cycle, the system may render somewhere between 0 and 4294967295 frames (in other words, your framerate would fluctuate massively from cycle to cycle, but would likely average out over a second to the mean of the distribution)...

Umm, no. Intel always has a lower temperature, some cases, not by much.
AMD uses more watts and volts to power it's chips.
Wrong, the new intel 3.2ghz E and EE editions have been known to drop upwards of 70C on the temp dial, earning the nickname "flamethrower". Even the Amd 64+ doesn't produce that much heat.
old amd vs. old intel, intel was cooler.
new amd vs. new intel, amd is cooler. just look at the prescott. ![]()

I Agree With You!!!! :staffs here:
Athlon XP 2000 45-55C
It is almost silent though.
Is that hot?
After UT2004 it can reach 60C. perhaps some extra cooling is needed.
i got the presscott 2.8e... when i boot it..its already 56.....after some beta UT it capable of reaching 70!~!.. :woot: i bought a farking expensive BBQ grill...and its doesn't even burn my wingz in time
