Microsoft Doesn't Allow Third Party Visaual Styles

help me friends i have successfully patched uxtheme.dll from iceman's website but after that my computer hangs frequently., almost on every boot so i have to restart on the login screen itself. is it happening to u also? other patches from belchfire.net{patch xp} and from tgtsoft.com{uxthemepatcher} don't work on my xp .they succssfully patch but don't work after reboot.is it due to the thing that i tried to install once windows xp sp1 but it said u have apirated version but may have copied the files to the temp directory. i have cleaned the temp folder also. i use windows xp plus for themes

Be sure you are getting the correct SP1/Non SP1 file. If you dont get the appropriate one, you get problems.
