Iphoto Question

I'm still new to this mac world. I love my new 15" PB.

I take care of my church's website, creation, updateing, etc.. wanted to put up some pics today and thought i'd give iphoto a go. I made a photo album useing the "homepage" button and it published my album to the .mac acount that came with my new machine. I wanted to publish it to my church's web server, but alas can't find out how to do this. I opend my album for the .mac site and saved it via a windows machine and moved those files to the corect sever and all is well. except my .mac site will expire in 33 day what then how ca i use this feature with out the .mac site? can you publish it else where like to your hard drive?

.Mac uses WebObjects stylesheets. Which are stored on Apple's own servers so they won't be copied accross to your church's web server.

If you want to post a page on your churches website I suggest that you download a copy of Macromedia's Contribute that Apple are giving away with the iDisk account. I don't know if you'll be able to download it if you only have a trial membership but it's worth a go. It can be found at iDisk/Software/Members Only/Macromedia Contribute

If you can't get at that Application I would suggest looking here or here. Try searching for "web publishing" or "blogging". You should find some shareware or freeware apps that'll do the job for you.

Or another option would be to put a link to your .Mac Photo album from your churches website ;)

Enjoy using your new Mac.
