Stylesuites Help Plea

I'm surprised that it's come to this so soon, but our host has pulled out of the deal we had (which we have been expecting for a while now). Don't get me wrong, the guys at rapidgaming.com have been great!! But the time has come to find a new host.

This is what we need:

MySQL/PHP support

300/400mb Diskspace

100gb Transfer/month

Does anyone know of anywhere where we could get this at a low price? - Any ideas as to how we can get hosting cheaper than normal?

Anything at all would be very much appreciated. I'd hate to see our effort be for nothing. Hopefully, we can find a way to grab ourselves a good deal.

Thanks in hopeful expectation :(

Oh man, thats suck!!!.....I had faced it before. Did 35GB enough for your site. Because if it is enough you can try at http://www.ipowerweb.com

They offer 800MB webspace and 35GB bandwidth for $7.95 per month

I got an unlimited bandwidth from my hosting, but it is a company from my country. I didn't think you will be interested though.

Anyhow goodluck in searching for new host

OK people, we've run into this situation again. Our incredibly generous host can no longer host StyleSuites. Any help would be appreciated - me and Dave don't want to see so many hours of work gone to waste. Again, we need

Thanks, all of you :)

EDIT: To any Mod reading this, is there any chance we could get this on the front-page? That way a lot more people would see our plea. Thankyou

Thanks wookietv. That hosting plan looks like the sort of thing we need :woot:

#132681

no problem, hope it works out for you... how long is the forum going to be down for?

#132947

It'll be down until we have the chance to get a copy of the site from our existing host, and upload it to our new host - probably a few weeks -_-

Know It All Hosting

This is the same host Hardwaregeeks uses. Damn good host.

Thanks peteross, that sounds like a good hosting plan, but most of the plans I've found (I've been searching all day) are just too expensive for me and Dave, even together. We really don't have the money spare to pay £40 a month, every month. I'm sure there must be a host out there somewhere who would do us a special deal. Bandwidth seems to be the main problem >.

Hello Simon,

I like to think we are a pretty good webhost too. :D

Simon, why don't you email me at jrossi (at) knowitallsolutions.com and maybe we can work out a deal.

I wouldn't trust them.

1. 'Unlimited' does not exist allthough it is possible to have unmetered bandwidth is possible.

2. I don't trust hosts without and address or phone number. ;)

1&1 are ok, I know you can trust them. The UK 1&1 has poor bandwidth but the US managed servers look good.

1&1 Dedicated servers

You may have to opt for dedicated servers though seeing as your site uses alot of bandwidth. ;)

Kiahost also looks good, worth checking them out. :)

Thanks KIA host. I'll just discuss a few things with Dave, then I'll email you with more info. ;)

Know It All Hosting, Simon and Dave all came to a suitable arrangement for the hosting of stylesuites.com.

Thanks for the recommendation peteross.

That's indeed a good news. ^_^

Thanks KIAhost, you've been great. We should have the site back up within the next few days - I'll post a seperate topic when we've moved and upgraded completely. :)
