ok now that im using firefox (thats to the pixelperfect mod). i have a question.
im kinda new to the tab bar deelly, is there a way for new windows to pop up in the tab bar and open in the same window, instead of a new window opening.

i swwweaaar it's some where in the options. but i've looked through it 10x and can't seem to find it. I know if you middle click on a link it does new window. ctrl+t is create a new tab.. i'll keep looking for the option.
Edit: Found it. Tools->Options->Advanced->Browsing->Open links in background
Alternatively, download Preferential and look within the options there. Pretty extensive resources for that extra bit of customisation. 
go into tabbrowser extension options,
First go to 'advanced' section and set it to 'single window mode' . THIS is what prevents multiple browser windows(you'll get the rare one).
Second go to the 'advanced user' section--->'open in new tab always' and tick all the boxes you want(probably all except for any link, as sometimes its better to navigate within a site in the same tab).
Deleted's advice is handy, as opening links no longer makes them steal focus.
I don't know why aquarius told people to untick all for his skin.
I dont get what your saying. You want links to open up in the same tab? it does that by default, if you want links to open in a new tab click the link with the middle mouse button. If you want them to open in a new window Shift+click the link.

@lostspider. what i want is instead of a new window opening up, the new window would open up in the same window under a new tab. so i dont have extra windows open.

If your mouse has a middle button just use that or you could just double click the tabbar and a new tab will open up. Also, ctrl+ t opens a new tab.
yeah, but this way is nicer and smoother, left click should do what you want in the first place not ctrl or a skinny wheel button, or something, this way you can save those for forcing some rarely wanted action.
