Desktop Of The Month

I was wondering all of us spend quite some time in customizing our desktop . I wanted to know if there is desktop of the month or similar thing on aqua-soft . i don't remeber there being one ,in the two + years that i have been coming here . I would like to know if having such a thing would be possible. the best desktop could be selected my the mods. The Best desktop of the previous month would be selected so that no one can say that they did not have time to post their desktop .

Desktops, in my opinion, are something that's much too personal to be judged.

Also, we have enough to do, without looking at people's hundreds of desktops.

i think DTOTM is kinda stupid, because on what grounds do you define the best desktop? One persons opinion of it would be completly difrent from anothers.

Nah...

I think it's a fun little idea. Everyone already submit's their SS's in the monthly SS thread. There's already a feature to make a Poll. All it would take is to make a new thread with everyone's name who submitt'd a SS listed. Leave it open for 1 month. So the Desktop of the month in July, would realy be June's winner.

Or maybe have a thing like wincustomize or something, where each day it randomly pulls 1 SS and some where on the main page, it will say 'Deleted's Current Desktop' and have a thumbnail.

Maybe when we get the gallery up, that way members can rate images and we'll truely know who has the desktop of the month, but for now this will always be the desktop of the month.
