[release] Digital Cream Player

OK folks. Something new for DesktopX and Foobar.

Digital Cream Player

Digital Cream Player is a DesktopX Widget that acts as a remote control for foobar 2000. DesktopX needs to be installed on your system, but does not need to be running to use this Widget. This player can be run on its own or as an accompaniment to Robert Izsaki's (RoberTO's) GTK/Metacity theme for Linux which is being ported to Windows. Credit for the overall visual style goes to RoberTO for creating such a great visual style to base this player on.

Features:

* Remote control of Play, Pause, Stop, Previous, Next, Open, Volume Up / Down

* Switchable CD Cover viewer (automatically retrieves CD Images while connected to the internet)

* Retrieves CD Covers for Music and Books Covers for Audio Books.

* Switchable Lyrics Browser (currently supports lyrics embedded in MP3 tags)

* Progress Bar and time elapsed / total displays

* Detailed song encoding stats

* Scrolling text for long text strings

* System Tray and task bar support

* Close, Minimize and Maximize to foobar buttons. Close closes both remote and foobar.

* Title bar displays actual foobar version

* Display text fades when paused

Anyway you could get this to work without Desktop X? Honestly it's nice and all and I'd really love to have it for foobar but I don't want to download Desktop X to use it.

Well. I intend to start learning C++, I guess when I do that I could have a look at creating an actual app to do it. Aside form that everything I have done here should be doable with samurize. But I don't use samurize.

pojo.. ieub has taken over completing the windowblinds theme.. I have never done a WB theme and he has offered to finish it.. he is apparently on vacation this week, but says he will be able to get it done quickly when he gets back.

@ b0r3d look in the zip file .. there is a components folder, you will find it there.

@pe7er If you want some different looks feel free to contact me on msn messenger or email me. I coded the backend on this such that with only some minor reference changes I can drop the code for this into just about anything.

@mimryme.. I looked at the foo looks plugin a while back, but not recenlty. I may have to give it a go again.

@ nomis_nehc not sure if an msstyle will be done. If someone wants to do it, I don't think RoberTO would have a problem. I think when i emailed him for permission I asked for WB or msstyle, but a quick email to him can ensure permissions.

Yeah.. the theme is to be released.. IEUB has taken over the conversion that i started. I don't have enough experince using skinstudio to create WB skins and none for MSStyles... IEUB is away right now, but I am sure he will be on top of it when he gets back.
