Good job haulden

#121642

It looks cool, but some bugs:

- I can't maximize the window, but I can resize it by dragging the borders. When it is resized, the rest of the dialogue's default backgroundbrush colour just shows up.

- I can maximize the popup-dialogues.

- The buttons in the popup-dialogues are non-skinned,maybe you forgat to add a manifest?

- Most of the button's don't work here (the day/month/week for example).

- The fonts look kinday jaggy.

Anyhoo, keep up the good work

(now where is that assembler code you talked about ;) )

#121650

Thanks for the comments AndreasV, I'll get working on them bugs. As for the assembly code, you'll see when i release the source, just need to comment it some more :/

Hi Dave,

This is what happens when I click and drag in the calendar window. A bug perhaps?

But great work. I see lots of improvements from the previous version already. ;)

Excuse the double posting... some little browser buggy... :P

#121660

lol dude, i have no idea what happened there, i'm trying to reproduce the bug but to no avail. can you be a little more specific about it?

#121668

Looks real good but I thought the light version was going to work with vs instead of the brushed look?

#121675

Ah, I found it again. Took me quite a bit of time to get back the bug.

It happens when I click on the empty space below the time 1900 and drag it towards to the left hand side pane.

Hope you can see what I mean. :P

In fact, clicking the space and dragging it in any direction will cause that to happen... >.<

Silencedge: Is that NEOS for WB I see in your ss :naughty: ?

Haulden: Looks like its coming along great so far

#121678

@ghostwalker: i'll release the one that handles vs probably tomorrow afternoon. i'm sorry abou that, but i'm really tired right now.

@silencedge: i really can't see what you mean, i tried dragging the calendar view clicking and holding below the 19:00 hours, but it just won't move.

just so you know, there is a new version up, you can download it here. It addresses the bugs pointed to me by AndreasV.

#121679

I get the same thing, yet I don't get it when in "Tiny Mode."

Edit: The error went away when I download the VB6 Runtime Controls.

I'll come up with more requested features and bugs probably tomorrow.

#121685

well there you go, that was probably it :)

#121689

*collects jaw from floor*

amazing. shocking.

iCal port. . .

*collects jaw from floor*

you ROCK!!!!!!!!

and i can confirm silencedge's bug.

edit// and i have those controls installed :)

#121691

well, i know some people now have been encountering this bug, but i think it's related to not having the VB6 runtime files installed in your computer. please download them, you can find them at www.download.com

please read the system requirements before running the app :) the read-me too, so yeah, umm... the hills are alive with the sound of music

#121693

I hope it's just the VB6 runtimes, cos I have them installed already... Do you reckon there's any other problems? Otherwise, I'd just reinstall them.

#121695

well, bugs known to me as of right now are the one you mentioned and the one mentioned in the read-me file. i really don't know what the bug you're getting could be, ''cause i haven't been able to duplicate it, but i'll check the code all over to see what could be causing it. i'll probably have an update for it at night.

#121697

Here's a little update.

I tried the newest version you have released, fixing Andreas' bugs. When I first ran it, the bug which I mentioned weren't there. But once I toggled the mini calendar view, and back to the full view, the bug returned.

It's weird, indeed...
